Science of Technology Power Point Presentation

Solar System Object PowerPoint Presentation

Instructions
  1. What to do? Create a PowerPoint presentation for your assigned solar system object with
    1. Title Slide (Name of Object, Your Name, Picture of Object, Block #)
    2. Data Slides (Include all of the available data listed on the data sheet)
    3. Interesting Facts Slides(Include at least one interesting fact about your object)
    4. Citations Slide (Give credit to where you found the pictures, data, and facts using the MLA format)
  2. Where to find information?
    1. Use the following sites (in order) to find your information.
    2. Remember, astronomers may not have observed all the information for each object yet.
      1. Wikipedia (find your object from the list to get started)
      2. NASA
      3. Google (Searching for anything but your object will result in you lo
      4. How to write MLA citations
  3. Data Sheet / Presentation Rubric
    1. The rubric will help you know if your presentation is complete. Check it to make sure you meet all of the project requirements.
    2. When we show the presentations in class, each student will collect the data on the data sheet (included in rubricanddata.xls file) for each solar system object.
