Solar System Object PowerPoint Presentation
Instructions
- What to do? Create a PowerPoint presentation for your assigned solar system object with
- Title Slide (Name of Object, Your Name, Picture of Object, Block #)
- Data Slides (Include all of the available data listed on the data sheet)
- Interesting Facts Slides(Include at least one interesting fact about your object)
- Citations Slide (Give credit to where you found the pictures, data, and facts using the MLA format)
- Where to find information?
- Use the following sites (in order) to find your information.
- Remember, astronomers may not have observed all the information for each object yet.
- Wikipedia (find your object from the list to get started)
- NASA
- Google (Searching for anything but your object will result in you lo
- How to write MLA citations
- Data Sheet / Presentation Rubric
- The rubric will help you know if your presentation is complete. Check it to make sure you meet all of the project requirements.
- When we show the presentations in class, each student will collect the data on the data sheet (included in rubricanddata.xls file) for each solar system object.
